The Twelve Competencies
Syllabus

Reflections on . . .
(15 points)

Reflections on . . . The reflections let you explore one of the Twelve Competencies. Actually there are only 5 reflection topics, but you can select any one of them for your reflection. You can only do this activity once.

Note that there is an on-line class available for each reflection competency. The on-line class is a streaming video file that you view, and it provides insights into the competency, and models how reflections can be done. The videos use the Real Player, so be sure you have the latest free version of the player installed.

Before you work on preparing your reflection, do these two things. First, watch the on-line class video, and second review the previous postings about the reflection topic you are doing. The previous postings are in the Discussions (Click on the menu item on the upper left). You are encouraged to look at the postings of your classmates in the discussion area. It is important not only to do the activities yourself, but to see how others approached them as well. Also, do not use the same articles as previous participants but find your own unique approach to the topic. When you have done these two tasks, you can proceed to develop your selected reflection. The details of each reflection are discussed individually

When you have completed all the requirements for your reflection, you can email Michelle Conley that you have completed the activity.

Reflection Topics
1. Reflection on Critical thinking
2. Reflection on Legal, Ethical and Moral Actions
3. Reflection on Management
4. Reflection on Documentation
5. Reflection on Cultural Awareness
